Obituary of Patricia A. Giardini

Patricia A. Giardini, of 70 Delevan Ave, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Erie PA, following an illness. Pat was born May 10, 1945 in Olean and was a daughter of Dominic and Marie Martinelli Panada. On Oct. 1, 1966, at St. Mary of the Angels Church she married her husband of 38 years, Victor J. Giardini, who predeceased her on May 19, 2005. Pat was a graduate of Arch Bishop Walsh High School in 1963. She formerly attended the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pat enjoyed being a stay at home mother. Pat loved and enjoyed her family, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends. Pat is survived by four children, Stephen J. (Mary) Giardini of Allegany, Christopher M. (Michelle) Giardini of Summerville, SC, Angela M. (Thomas) Nelson of Olean, and Valerie L. (Emil Westfall) Giardini of Franklinville; 13 Grandchildren, Andrew, Gabrielle, Christopher, Brett, Bryan, Hannah, Dakota, Andrew, Isabelle, Geena, Kohl, Kyle, and Emil; and one sister, Carolyn (Jerry) Giardini of Allegany. Along with her loving husband, Pat was also predeceased by a close friend, Michael Nevins. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Dr. Derek Cheek, Pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, will officiate.
