Obituary of Eugenia A. Clark

Eugenia A. Clark formerly of Friendship & Cuba for many years, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 in the Pines Health & Rehab Center in Olean.
Mrs. Clark was born Sept. 27, 1939 in Buffalo, NY and she was the daughter of George and Eugenia Lundy Golibersuch. On Feb. 3, 1973 in North Boston, NY, she married her husband of 30 years, Francis E. Clark, who predeceased her Jan. 29, 2003.
Jean graduated a 1957 of Sacred Heart Academy in Buffalo. She returned back to college later in life and she received her Associate Degree in Human Services in 1988 from Jamestown Community College in Olean. Jean worked for Olean General Hospital and Jones Memorial Hospital as unit clerk and she also worked the Cattaraugus County Council on Drug & Alcohol Abuse on South Union Street in Olean. She and her husband where former members of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Cuba. Having bowled on several leagues, Jean, enjoyed bowling and traveling. She is a former member of Al-Anon.
Mrs. Clark is survived by seven children, Edeane M. Chrapa of Orchard Park, Doug Clark of Wellsville, Carrie (Jim) Walczyk of East Aurora, Phillip Clark of Olean, Lawrence (Pam) Clark of Friendship, Kathleen (Terry Peterson) Clark of Olean, and Edward Clark of Franklinville; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, George (Barbara) Golibersuch of Tuscon, AZ; and 2 nieces.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held. The Rev. Dennis J. Mancuso, Pastor of Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
