Craig T. Bushnell of 636 E. State Street, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at home following an apparent heart attack. Craig was born on Oct. 12, 1949 in Olean and was a son of Lynn and Eleanor Southwick Bushnell. He graduated from Olean High School in 1967. Craig attended Olean Business Institute for a period of time before serving in the US Navy from 1968 to 1972. Craig began his 33 year long courier at ALCAS in Aug, 3, 1977. He held several position including Assistant Supervisor, Assembler, Kitchen Tool Operator, Shipping Clerk, Inspector and his current position of group Leader. He enjoyed cooking, antiques and his pet cat. Surviving Craig are three brothers, Robert D. (Sally) Bushnell of Olean, Lynn L. (Jean) Bushnell of Denver, CO., and Thomas V, (Jean) Bushnell of Wapakoneta, Ohio; several nieces & nephews; close friends, Daniel M. Reitz of Washington, Pa, Clarence "Chip" Townsend of Buffalo, and Ron Silvevio of Buffalo. Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at which time a memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the SPCA Route 16 North Olean, New York 14760.
