Dora A. Bergholtz of 11228 Saeger Lane passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Hamot Medical, Erie Pa. Dora was born on March 14, 1929 in Olean and was a daughter of Alva and Ollie Smith. She was formerly married to Bruce W. Foster, Sr. Dora married Rod Bergholtz who pre-deceased her. Dora work for a period of time at the Eldred Powder Plant and then for AVX. After she moved to Meadville she worked for over 20 years at the Meadville Hospital in the house keeping department, where she retired from in 1999. She enjoyed bowling and traveling with her bowling league. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved very much. Surviving Dora are three sons, Bruce W. (Julie) Foster, Jr. of Cuba, Bryon D. (Rose) Foster of Clarence Center, NY, and Craig S. (Mary Leibman) Foster of Kenmore; and many grand and great grand children. Dora was pre-deceased by a daughter, Cathy A. Hall on July 9, 2011; a sister, Grace Troutman; three brothers, Arthur, Howard and Walter Smith. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. #646 E. State Street, Olean from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at which time Funeral & Committal Services will be held. The Rev. Gregory J. Dodson, Pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church, will officiate.
