Obituary of Patricia A. Stabb

Patricia A. Stabb of 1743 Happy Hollow Road, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at the Olean General Hospital, following a short illness. Patricia was born on Oct. 12, 1937 in Olean and was a daughter of Harold and Agnes Klimczyk Swartz. On Aug. 27, 1955 at St. Mary of the Angels Church, she married her husband of 56 years Harold G. "Webb" Stabb, who predeceased her on Nov. 19, 2011. Patricia graduated from Olean High School in 1955. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and formerly a member of the St. Mary of the Angels Church. Patricia was an avid reader and puzzle fanatic. She enjoyed collecting angels, snowmen, and anything Mickey Mouse. Patricia also enjoyed gardening, bowling, and playing darts. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Patricia is survived by three sons, Jack A. (Cheryl) Stabb of Oakland, CA, Christopher R. (Andrea) Stabb of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Peter M. Stabb of Colchester, VT; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; three siblings, Robert J. (Barbara) Swartz of Horseheads, David M. (Barbara) Swartz of Franklinville, Maurine F. (Bernard) Beechler of Lancaster; many nieces & nephews; and special friends and neighbors from Honeyoye and Olean. Along with her loving husband, Patricia was predeceased by one son, Daniel J. Stabb on Nov. 5, 1996; and three siblings, Harold A. and Maurice Swartz and Rosemarie Leonard. At Patricia's request, there will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Service. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
