Obituary of Hazel R. Reeves

Hazel R. Reeves of 210 1/2 South Second Street, Passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 in the Olean General Hospital following an illness. Hazel was born Sept. 8, 1963 in Jamestown and was the daughter of William and Rose Ulrick Whiteman. On March 4, 2002 in Jamestown she married her loving husband, Jessie W. Reeves, who predeceased her on Dec. 7, 2011. Hazel worked for Wilcare and Wilson Farms in Jamestown. She enjoyed fishing, playing dice and cards, country music, and spending time with family & friends, especially her grandchildren. Hazel will be remembered as an outgoing person. Hazel is survived by thee children, Susan M. Mattson of Jamestown, Alisha M. Stephens of Olean, and Adreanna L. Stephens of Olean; four grandchildren, Lorraine, Kacey, and Mackenzie Stephens, and Bradley Price; three brothers, Tom Whiteman of Randolph, Pat Whiteman of Randolph, and Frank Whiteman of Alaska; five sisters, Gloria Dame of Randolph, Wilma Gifford of Olean, Florence Dame of Jamestown, Linda Covey of Frewsburg, and Georgia Vullo of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., #646 E. State St., Olean, on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Chuck Maine, Pastor of Epic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
