Fred J. Oyer, formerly of 103 Clinton Street, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit following a length illness.
Fred was born June 12, 1956 in Salamanca and was a son of Fred Franklyn and Colleen Jane Case Oyer. Fred enjoyed traveling having had lived in a number of state including Virginia, Washington, Arizona and Texas. While in Ft Worth Texas he briefly worked at Saunders Leasing. Fred was also a licensed ham radio operator. He liked small animals and he truly loved his cat.
Fred is survived by one sister, CaseAnn M. Oyer of Fort Worth , TX; a nephew, Justin Oyer; and a niece, Amberlyn Allen and her daughter EmmaLee Spake.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc, 646 E. State St, Olean. Deacon Mike Anderson, Fred's cousin will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Valley Rural Cemetery, Little Valley. Online condolences may be made by clicking the button above.
